​Mat Classes

Small classes ensure I can focus on individuals and they can progress at their own pace.  I will encourage every-one to progress once they have the correct technique, progressing from beginner through intermediate to advanced. Activities include Pilates mat exercises and may also include work with various other apparatuses eg weights, therabands and rings.

​Pilates for Runners

As runners we all suffer from from injuries like Achilles heel, runner's knee and ITB syndrome.  In these sessions I focus on exercises that will help alleviate the stress on overused muscles that are prone to tightness in runners also improving flexibility (hip flexors, quads, hamstrings etc). Pilates helps improve running form by strengthening core muscles which will keep your spine and pelvis stable.

Pilates for over 50's

This class is suitable for those who want to work at their own pace in a gentle, relaxed and friendly environment.  I adapt exercises so that everyone can progress and enjoy pilates at their own level.  Pilates improves and optimises posture, gait and flexibility.  It also helps protect against osteoporosis, is gentle on vulnerable joints and focuses on improving balance giving you confidence for everyday activities.

Private Lessons

Private Pilates personal training is ideal if you would like a class completely tailored to your body and time schedule. Pilates is a gentler option than standard personal training. It’s gentle, low impact and precise so it’s safe on the joints and back. Yet it can equally challenge you due to its focus on correct alignment, therefore targeting weaker areas of the body more effectively and building muscle tone without losing flexibility.
